Exemption for early childhood programs from state licensing is provided under FS 402.316 for all CSF member schools. Under the direction of the CSF Director of Early Childhood, license-exempt Early Childhood (EC) programs are inspected at least annually, while license-exempt Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten (VPK) programs and Gold Seal programs are inspected twice annually.
