It’s not every day you present your work to NASA scientists. Anderson Spencer came up with a new idea that can help NASA scientists grow edible plants on a spacecraft. With the help of Jordan DeWitt, the Innovation Studio Specialist at Fairchild Tropical Gardens, a prototype of Anderson's concept was created using a 3D printer.
At the Grow Beyond Earth Symposium held at Fairchild Tropical Gardens, Anderson had the opportunity to meet Jordan and see the working prototype for the first time. He also met with NASA scientists Trent Smith and Gioia Massa to discuss his idea. We are beyond proud of Anderson!
